On December 2-3, the YIWEI New Energy Vehicle 2024 Strategic Seminar was grandly held at Xiyunge in Chongzhou, Chengdu. The company’s top leaders and core members gathered together to announce the inspiring strategic plan for 2024. Through this strategic seminar, communication and collaboration between departments were strengthened, and teams were motivated to strive towards common goals.
According to the company’s overall strategic plan and in line with the goals for 2023, the YIWEI Automotive Marketing Center, Technology Center, Production Quality, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Administration departments successively presented their strategic reports for 2024.
First, Chairman Li Hongpeng delivered a speech, emphasizing the keyword “new” for this year’s strategic meeting. Firstly, it represents the presence of many new faces in the strategic planning, symbolizing the continuous expansion of the YIWEI Automotive team. Secondly, it highlights the need for more exploration in our work next year, including innovative technologies, modes, and the development of new products. Lastly, “preparation is key to success,” and it is hoped that through this strategic meeting, each department can better carry out their work next year by openly expressing their thoughts and ideas.
Marketing Center Dept:
Yuan Feng, the company’s Vice General Manager, reported on market forecasts, marketing objectives and breakdown, sales strategies, and management enhancement measures for 2024. In 2023, YIWEI Automotive’s sales exceeded 200 million yuan, and the plan is to achieve another record high in the coming year. Taking advantage of YIWEI Automotive’s specialization and customization, the company will focus on the 15 pilot cities that are implementing comprehensive electrification of public vehicles in various fields. Additionally, three new market directions will be explored, with emphasis on brand building and increasing YIWEI’s reputation in the field of new energy vehicles both domestically and internationally.
Li Xianghong, Deputy General Manager of the Hubei Branch, and Yan Jing, Overseas Business Director, respectively reported on the strategic plans for the Suizhou and overseas markets. They formulated sales plans and goals for the next year, clarified key work directions, and outlined measures to be taken.
Technology Center Dept:
Xia Fugen, Chief Engineer of Chengdu YIWEI New Energy Vehicle, reported on product planning, technological upgrades, product testing, intellectual property rights, and team building.
Next year, some vehicle models will undergo product upgrades to enhance their intelligence, safety, and reliability. In terms of product development, efforts will be made to develop various types of chassis, power units, and achieve product series production. Optimization, improvement, and innovation will be carried out in the areas of intelligent platforms, big data analysis, and vehicle intelligence. Intellectual property management will focus on increasing the number of patents filed for inventions next year. In terms of team building, a significant number of talents in research and development, product, testing, and other areas will be recruited.
Production Quality Dept:
Jiang Genghua, Head of the Production Quality Department, and team members reported on production planning, production objectives, and other aspects. Detailed plans were made for quality control, production process improvement, certification, intelligent management, and after-sales service system development for the next year.
In the coming year, efforts will be made to comprehensively improve product quality control and enhance the quality system. Production safety management will be strengthened to ensure no safety accidents occur. The construction of an information platform for after-sales service will be accelerated, aiming to improve the “one-stop, customer-oriented, lifelong care, attentive service, and quick response” after-sales service model.
Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Administration Dept:
The heads of the Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Administration departments respectively reported on the strategic plans for the next year.
Pooling Wisdom and Consensus together:
The participants were divided into six discussion groups during the strategic meeting. After each department’s report, the groups leveraged their collective wisdom to provide constructive and comprehensive suggestions. Through mutual exchange, internal communication and collaboration within the company were strengthened, motivating each department to optimize and improve their work in the future. Finally, Chairman Li Hongpeng delivered a summary speech on all department reports.
During the two-day strategic meeting, in addition to the serious reports, the comprehensive department also prepared a sumptuous dinner for everyone and organized a birthday celebration for the birthday stars of the month.
