Recently, Hainan and Guangdong have taken significant steps in promoting the application of new energy sanitation vehicles, respectively releasing relevant policy documents that will bring new highlights to the future development of these vehicles.
In Hainan Province, the “Notice on Handling Hainan Province’s 2024 Subsidies for Encouraging the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles,” jointly issued by the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Transportation, the Provincial Public Security Department, and the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, mentioned the following regarding operating service subsidies and standards for new energy urban sanitation vehicles (based on the vehicle type on the motor vehicle registration certificate): If the vehicle’s accumulated mileage reaches 10,000 kilometers within one year from the date of registration, a subsidy of 27,000 yuan and 18,000 yuan per vehicle can be claimed for medium-heavy and light-duty (and below) vehicles, respectively.
In December, the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government also issued the “Notice on Printing and Distributing the Action Plan for Continuous Improvement of Air Quality in Guangdong Province.” This notice stated that the proportion of new energy vehicles used in newly added or updated urban logistics and distribution, light postal express, and light sanitation vehicles in prefecture-level and above cities should reach over 80%. The plan also promotes mechanized wet sweeping operations using suction-type equipment and the fully furnished delivery of newly built residential buildings in urban areas. By the end of 2025, the mechanization sweeping rate of municipal roads in built-up areas of prefecture-level and above cities will reach approximately 80%, and in county-level cities, it will reach approximately 70%.
In summary, both Hainan and Guangdong have demonstrated positive policy guidance and market demand in promoting the application of new energy sanitation vehicles. The introduction of these policies not only provides strong policy support and market opportunities for the development of new energy sanitation vehicles but also further promotes the rapid development and green transformation of the special vehicle industry.
Currently, Yiwei has successfully delivered new energy sanitation vehicles in more than 20 provinces across the country, including batch deliveries in Hainan and Guangdong. With its outstanding product performance and excellent service system, Yiwei has earned the deep trust and praise of customers in both regions.
This year, Yiwei has continued to increase its investment in product research and development, successively launching multiple pure electric sanitation vehicle models, forming a comprehensive and diverse product matrix. This matrix not only covers basic sanitation vehicle types such as 4.5-ton compressed garbage trucks, sewage suction trucks, and hook-lift trucks, but also extends to various segmented application areas, including 10-ton water sprinkler trucks, 12.5-ton food waste collection trucks, multi-functional dust suppression trucks, 18-ton road sweepers, 31-ton cleaning sprinkler trucks, and larger hook-lift trucks. The launch of these models further enrich Yiwei’ product line, meeting sanitation operation needs in different scenarios.
At the same time, Yiwei has also achieved significant results in technological innovation. The company has successfully developed and launched a smart sanitation platform and advanced visual recognition technology. The application of these technologies not only improves the efficiency and intelligence level of sanitation operations but also provides customers with more comprehensive and efficient new energy sanitation vehicle solutions. Through the application of these innovative technologies, Yiwei is gradually leading the sanitation industry towards intelligentization and green transformation.
