With the factory machinery roaring and assembly lines in full swing, and vehicles undergoing back-and-forth testing, the YIWEI new energy automotive production line and testing facilities in Suizhou, Hubei, known as the "Capital of China's Special Purpose Vehicles," are a bustling scene as we approach the end of 2023.
The YIWEI new energy automotive Suizhou factory, which was completed and put into operation in February this year, currently has a production capacity of 20,000 units per year. It is the first domestic production line dedicated to new energy special-purpose vehicle chassis and symbolizes YIWEI Automotive's growth from chassis development to complete vehicle research, design, and production. This year, the Suizhou factory has produced YIWEI's independently developed 18-ton pure electric water sprinkler truck, multi-functional dust suppression vehicle, and other models.
Stepping into the YIWEI automotive factory workshop, the sound of machinery fills the air, sparks fly from welding, and the production process proceeds orderly. Workers on the production line are busy installing parts and assembling components with skill and precision. From chassis assembly to complete vehicle assembly, the vehicle's structure is perfected step by step on the production line.
Newly assembled vehicles undergo preliminary testing and debugging of various functions, such as water spraying and sweeping, within the factory premises. Subsequently, they undergo road testing on the standardized test track within the factory area. Each YIWEI vehicle undergoes multiple inspections and adjustments before smoothly leaving the assembly line to ensure the vehicle's functions and performance are impeccable when delivered to customers.

Despite the surge in order volumes and the peak season approaching year-end, YIWEI Automotive remains stable and takes corresponding measures to cope with the situation. The Chengdu Research and Development Center intensifies its efforts in the development, assembly, and testing of the power systems, while the Suizhou factory is responsible for the production and testing of complete vehicles. Judging from the performance of the Suizhou factory in its first year of production, YIWEI Automotive has a complete supply chain system that ensures smooth production and delivery to customers.
