According to the announcement by the National Intellectual Property Administration, YIWEI Automotive Technology Center has applied for an invention patent – an integrated thermal management system and method for vehicles. The patent application date was July 19, 2023, and the authorization announcement number is CN116619983B. Currently, it has been applied to YIWEI Automotive’s independently developed vehicles and chassis.
This invention discloses an integrated thermal management system and method for vehicles, belonging to the field of vehicle control technology. The system includes a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), a thermal management information parsing module, a thermal management strategy matching module, and a thermal management fault detection module.
By controlling all thermal management systems through the VCU, this invention achieves different heat dissipation modes for all motors and controllers of the vehicle and different cooling demands for the power battery under different conditions. The invention’s system enables real-time fault diagnosis, fault localization, and handling of the entire thermal management system by the VCU, thereby achieving complete control over the system.
Currently, this patented invention has been applied to YIWEI Automotive’s self-developed 18-ton full product lineup and 10-ton, 12-ton high-end chassis. Customers can customize and select according to their needs.
