On April 28th, a unique environmental sanitation operation skills competition kicked off in Shuangliu District, Chengdu City. Organized by the Urban Management and Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, and hosted by the Environmental Sanitation Association of Shuangliu District, the competition aimed to enhance the operational skills of sanitation workers and promote innovation and development in the sanitation industry through a skills competition format. Yiwei Electric Vehicles, as a new energy special-purpose vehicle enterprise actively responding to green development and environmental protection concepts, provided vehicle support for this competition.
Yiwei Electric Vehicles provided 8 sanitation vehicles for the competition, including 4 18-ton pure electric washing and sweeping vehicles and 4 18-ton pure electric water spraying vehicles. These vehicles are the second-generation pure electric sanitation vehicles independently developed by Yiwei Electric Vehicles. With smooth body lines and a simple and atmospheric design, they feature high safety (equipped with driving safety assistance), comfortable seating, and convenient operation (quick adaptation for novices), providing strong support for the smooth progress of the competition.
Su Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Urban Management and Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, Shi Tianming, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Urban Management and Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, Zhou Wei, President of the Environmental Sanitation Association of Shuangliu District, as well as responsible leaders from the Xikai District Management Committee, Aviation Economic Zone Management Committee, and various town (street) sanitation departments attended the event together. Multiple sanitation companies in Shuangliu District participated in the competition.
At the opening ceremony, Su Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Urban Management and Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, expressed the hope that through training and competition, efforts would be made to create a new situation in sanitation work, overall improve the image and quality of sanitation workers, comprehensively promote the high-quality development of the sanitation industry, and contribute more to the accelerated construction of Shuangliu as a high-quality China Aviation Economic City.
Compared with traditional environmental sanitation operation competitions, this competition mainly focused on demonstrations of large-scale sanitation vehicle operations, covering aspects such as safety standard operations, road flushing and sweeping, and water flow impact control ability, also indirectly showcasing the modernization and intelligence development trend of sanitation in Shuangliu District.
In the washing and sweeping vehicle operation demonstration segment, sanitation workers skillfully operated the washing and sweeping vehicles to flush the roadside curbs and simultaneously clean up the accumulated fallen leaves. The water spraying vehicle operation segment tested the precision and stability of sanitation workers in operating the water spraying vehicles. By controlling the size and range of water flow impact, they completed the cleaning operations in designated areas. In the competition, Yiwei Electric Vehicles’ sanitation vehicle products were highly praised by sanitation workers and judges for their convenient operation, smooth driving, strong cleaning ability, fast charging, and long endurance.
The vehicles provided by Yiwei Electric Vehicles for this competition are independently developed 18-ton pure electric washing and sweeping vehicles and 18-ton pure electric water spraying vehicles. With integrated design of the chassis and upper body, they have good overall performance and high reliability. Equipped with patented integrated thermal management system, big data analysis system, and intelligent operation system, they have advantages such as intelligence, informatization, energy conservation, and environmental protection.
The hosting of this competition not only showcased the achievements of sanitation operation capabilities and levels, work efficiency, and service quality in Shuangliu District but also explored sanitation talents and professional teams and shaped a new image for the sanitation industry and urban management. At the same time, as a new energy special-purpose vehicle enterprise, Yiwei Electric Vehicles has supported the development of green sanitation undertakings through practical actions.
