Today, a delegation from Le Ling City, Shandong Province, including Deputy Mayor Su Shujiang, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Le Ling Economic Development Zone Li Hao, Director of Le Ling City Economic Cooperation Promotion Center Wang Tao, and Senior Official from Le Ling City Government Office Han Fang, visited Yiwei Automotive. They were warmly received by Yiwei Automotive Deputy General Manager Yuan Feng, General Manager of Hubei Yiwei Automotive Wang Junyuan, Chief Engineer Xia Fugen, and Sales Manager Zhang Tao.
In the morning, the delegation led by Deputy Mayor Su first arrived at Yiwei Automotive’s Chengdu Innovation Center for an on-site inspection. At the after-sales service center, Chief Engineer Xia Fugen introduced Yiwei Automotive’s self-developed “digital” sanitation platform to the visiting officials.
Subsequently, under the guidance of General Manager Wang Junyuan of Hubei Yiwei Automotive, Deputy Mayor Su and his team toured the production and debugging lines for Yiwei Automotive’s new energy sanitation vehicles, upper power, and control systems.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Yiwei Automotive’s Chengdu R&D Center for a discussion session. Sales Manager Zhang Tao provided detailed introductions about Yiwei Automotive’s development history, product R&D capabilities, production layout, and market sales.
Deputy General Manager Yuan Feng elaborated on the current market conditions for new energy sanitation vehicles. He noted that with the government’s emphasis on environmental protection and energy conservation, as well as policies promoting large-scale equipment renewal, new energy sanitation vehicles are becoming a trend in urban and rural sanitation. Yiwei Automotive, as a young and vibrant company, has achieved results in constructing assembly lines for new energy special vehicle chassis and completed the country’s first such production line in Suizhou. Additionally, the company is actively exploring more investment and cooperation projects, including the construction of maintenance networks for three-electric systems and investments in recycling industrial parks for new energy special vehicles, to further expand the market and enhance competitiveness.
Deputy Mayor Su expressed his affirmation of Yiwei Automotive’s commitment and efforts in the new energy sector. He detailed Le Ling City’s unique geographical advantages and excellent business environment to the Yiwei leadership. He also mentioned that Le Ling is actively responding to national policies, planning to gradually replace public vehicles with new energy models.
Moreover, there is a significant demand in Le Ling for new energy sanitation vehicles, especially those with higher levels of “intelligence and informatization.” Additionally, Le Ling places great importance on fire safety, equipping each township with fire trucks, where sanitation water trucks are often used as complementary equipment in emergency fire management.
Finally, Deputy Mayor Su highly appreciated the development of Yiwei Automotive and sincerely invited its leaders to visit Le Ling for an on-site inspection and investment discussions, to jointly write a new chapter in the new energy automotive industry.
