The World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference is China’s first nationally recognized professional conference on intelligent connected vehicles, approved by the State Council. In 2024, the conference, themed “Collaborative Advancement for a Smart Future—Sharing New Opportunities in the Development of Intelligent Connected Vehicles,” was held from October 17 to 19 at the Yichuang International Exhibition Center in Beijing. Representatives from various national automotive authorities and esteemed organizations attended, with over 250 renowned domestic and international vehicle manufacturers and key component enterprises showcasing more than 200 new technologies and products. Chengdu Yiwei New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. was honored to be invited as a guest to this industry event.
An important component of the conference was the “Cross-Regional Collaborative Development Forum: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Collaborative Development Meeting.” Attendees included Jiang Guangzhi, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, relevant leaders from the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, leaders from the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, as well as representatives from the economic and information departments of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, and local leaders and industrial park representatives from Shunyi District, Wuqing, and Anci.
During the meeting, leaders from the Automotive and Transportation Industry Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology provided detailed reports on the achievements and future outlook of collaborative development in intelligent connected vehicles in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Additionally, related leaders from the command center and the Bureau discussed the planning scheme for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Technology Ecological Port.
Following this, the signing ceremony for the first batch of enterprises entering the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Technology Ecological Port was held ceremoniously. This ceremony marks a significant step forward in the construction of the ecological port. Chengdu Yiwei New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. reached a cooperation agreement with the Wuqing Automotive Industry Park, with Chairman Li Hongpeng officially signing the entry agreement on behalf of the company.
As the integration of the automotive industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region deepens, the inclusion of companies like Chengdu Yiwei New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. will inject new vitality into Wuqing’s active participation in the national strategy for collaborative development. This will help create an advanced manufacturing cluster for the automotive industry and accelerate the development of the “New Industrial City” in the Beijing-Tianjin region. Looking ahead, with more cooperative results and continuous technological innovations, the intelligent connected vehicle industry is poised to embrace broader development prospects and infinite possibilities.
