Recently, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issued Announcement No. 28 of 2024, approving 761 industry standards, 25 of which are related to the automotive sector. These newly approved automotive industry standards will be published by the China Standards Press and will officially come into effect on May 1, 2025.
Under the guidance of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC114), significant progress has been made in the formulation of standards for cleaning vehicles. Chengdu YIWEI New Energy Automotive Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “YIWEI Automotive”) participated as one of the drafting organizations. The company’s Chairman, Li Hongpeng, and Chief Engineer, Xia Fugen, were involved in the revision and formulation process of these standards.
As an important member of the drafting team, YIWEI Automotive worked closely with other participating units to discuss, formulate, and improve the standards for cleaning vehicles. These standards not only cover the technical requirements, testing methods, and inspection rules for cleaning vehicles but also provide detailed specifications on product labeling, user manuals, and accompanying technical documentation. The standards offer comprehensive guidance and regulations for cleaning vehicles that use standardized Category II automotive chassis modifications.
The formulated standards take into account the actual needs of the cleaning vehicle market and technological development trends.
