In late August, the 13th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Sichuan Region) was held in Chengdu. The event was organized by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, with the Sichuan Productivity Promotion Center, Sichuan Innovation Development Investment Management Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. as the hosts. Y1 Automotive secured third place in the Growth Group—covering new energy, new energy vehicles, and energy-saving and environmental protection industries. Based on the results of the competition, Y1 Automotive has also advanced to the national finals.
Since its initiation in June, the competition has attracted 808 technology-oriented enterprises, with 261 companies ultimately advancing to the finals. The finals employed a “7+5” format, where contestants presented for 7 minutes followed by 5 minutes of questions from the judges, with scores announced on-site. Y1 Automotive’s Vice General Manager, Zeng Libo, won third place in the Sichuan regional finals with the “One-Stop Solution for New Energy Special Vehicles.”
