In the current policy context, heightened environmental awareness and the pursuit of sustainable development have become irreversible trends. Hydrogen fuel, as a clean and efficient energy form, has also become a focal point in the transportation sector. Currently, Yiwei Motors has completed the development of multiple hydrogen fuel-specific vehicle chassis. Recently, the first batch of 10 customized 4.5-ton hydrogen fuel-specific vehicle chassis (with a total order of 80 units) was delivered to customers in Chongqing. These chassis, with their green and environmentally friendly features, long range, and fast refueling capabilities, will be applied to logistics refrigerated trucks, injecting new vitality into green logistics.
Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles produce only water during operation, resulting in no environmental pollution and truly achieving green travel. Additionally, the refueling speed of hydrogen fuel-specific vehicles is extremely fast, typically taking only a few minutes to over ten minutes, comparable to the refueling time of gasoline vehicles, significantly improving energy replenishment efficiency. The delivered 4.5-ton hydrogen fuel chassis, with a full hydrogen range of approximately 600 kilometers (constant speed method), fully meets the needs of long-distance transportation.
This batch of customized 4.5-ton hydrogen fuel-specific vehicle chassis has undergone comprehensive upgrades in both technology and design:
Advanced Maintenance-Free Electric Drive Axle: Low operating noise and excellent adaptability not only ensure superior power performance of the entire vehicle but also provide more flexibility and space for vehicle layout by reducing the chassis’s unladen weight.
Carefully Designed Wheelbase: The 3300mm wheelbase offers a perfect layout solution for various light truck-specific upper equipment. Whether it is a refrigerated truck or an insulated truck, it can meet specific space requirements, ensuring a perfect combination of functionality and practicality.
Lightweight Design Philosophy: The maximum gross vehicle weight is controlled at 4495kg, perfectly meeting the requirements for blue-plate vehicles while providing greater cargo space, reducing operational costs for logistics transportation.
High-Efficiency Fuel Cell Engine: Equipped with 50kW or 90kW fuel cell engines, it efficiently converts electrical energy, providing continuous and stable power support for various specialized vehicles. Whether for urban logistics or long-distance transportation, it performs excellently, meeting the needs of long-term operation.
In addition, Yiwei Motors has developed 4.5-ton, 9-ton, and 18-ton hydrogen fuel-specific vehicle chassis and plans to further develop a 10-ton hydrogen fuel chassis.
