On September 4, 2023, accompanied by fireworks, the first-ever 18-ton all-electric bus rescue vehicle jointly developed by Chengdu Yiwéi New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Zhongqi Gaoke Co., Ltd. was officially delivered to Chengdu Public Transport Group. This delivery marks another advancement in the electrification of the public transportation sector, enhancing the supporting facilities of the bus system and achieving comprehensive carbon reduction, intelligence, and innovation.
At 10 a.m., the ZQS5180TQZDBEV pure electric rescue vehicle entered the logistics base of Chengdu Public Transport Group, where the technical staff immediately commenced the acceptance process. After a strict and meticulous two-hour technical verification and functional testing, the vehicle successfully passed the acceptance process. The leadership of Chengdu Public Transport Group's Rescue Center highly recognized the product and expressed that it will become the vanguard and main force in the rescue operations for Chengdu's public transportation in the future.
Built upon the foundation of traditional rescue vehicles, this product incorporates electrification and information technology, enabling various rescue methods specifically designed for all-electric buses. It strives to tackle complex and challenging rescue scenarios effortlessly. The lifting and towing device adopts a dual-purpose mechanism (lifting and tire gripping) to facilitate the lifting rescue operation in complex environments. The total thickness of the lifting arm device is only 238mm, with a maximum effective distance of 3460mm, primarily used for the clearance and rescue of buses and vehicles with lower chassis. The widened lifting arm has a width of 485mm and is made of high-strength Q600 plates, ensuring lightweight and high strength.
The chassis is equipped with a five-in-one controller that integrates functions such as power-assisted steering motor control, air compressor motor control, DC/DC, high-voltage power transmission, and charging. Among them, the power distribution for the upper body reserves three high-power charging interfaces of 20+60+120 kW to meet the temporary charging needs of electric buses. Additionally, the reserved steering pump backup DC/AC system can drive the steering pump motor of the rescued vehicle in the event of steering system malfunction or lack of power assistance, meeting the steering requirements during towing.
Chengdu Yiwéi New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. actively responds to the national "Dual Carbon" strategy, fulfills its social responsibilities and mission, and adheres to the development philosophy of "unity, ambition, and proactive action." It contributes to the construction of a beautiful China with blue skies, green land, and clean water, while establishing "Yiwéi" as an internationally renowned brand in the field of new energy commercial vehicles.
